Martial Rosselet started out as a professional musician in 1989 at the Conservatoire de La Chaux-de-Fonds in the class of Jacques Henry. In 1991 he was accepted as trainee with the Société d’Orchestre de Bienne where he played for 2 years. In 1993 he obtained his diploma of Capacité Professionnelle at the Conservatoire de La Chaux-de-Fonds and was subsequently appointed trombone teacher. He became a permanent member of the Neuchâtel Symphonic Orchestra.
In 1995, he became a permanent member of the Collège de Cuivre de Suisse Romande and was accepted for the virtuosity class at the Basel conservatoire where he obtained his diploma cum laude for the instrument (Heinrich Huber’s class) and a distinction for chamber music (Jost Meier’s class).
